GradeUp Maths Terms and Conditions

These terms outline the legal agreement between you and GradeUp Maths Ltd concerning your use of our platform and services. We may update these terms at any point; any updates become effective as soon as they're published on our site. Your continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

  • In these terms, "platform" refers broadly to all services, content, tools, tutorials, and lessons offered by GradeUp Maths.

  • By creating an account and accessing our platform, or using any of our services or content, you agree to these terms in full.

Our Services

GradeUp Maths provides an online learning platform where students can enhance their mathematics skills through feedback and support, in a similar fashion to one-to-one tuition but delivered more flexibly, efficiently, and affordably.

Your Agreement to the Terms

Please ensure you fully understand these terms before using the platform or making any purchases. You must accept these terms to register and use our services; refusal to accept them will prevent you from accessing our platform.

GradeUp Maths — Our Commitments

We commit to:

  • Delivering quality maths teaching and learning support through our qualified teachers.

  • Maintaining functionality of our platform, including the booking and payment systems.

  • Informing you in advance when scheduled maintenance or downtime is planned.

  • Taking reasonable measures to keep the platform secure and free of harmful software.

  • Notifying both students and tutors of bookings, confirmations, or cancellations using their chosen contact method.

Your Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

  • Keep your account information accurate and current.

  • Avoid posting defamatory, offensive, or illegal content.

  • Immediately report any inappropriate content you encounter.

  • Recognise that while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the completeness or currentness of all content on the platform.

  • Safeguard your own online security.

  • Adhere to the GradeUp Maths Privacy Policy.

  • Understand that violations of these terms may result in removal from the platform.

Acceptable Use of the Platform

Your use of the platform must comply with the following:

  • All information provided when registering, booking, or providing payment must be truthful and kept up to date.

  • Use the platform lawfully and for its intended educational purpose.

  • Maintain only one user account and provide accurate personal details.

  • Do not attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts.

  • Do not share external contact information in your profile.

  • Avoid disrupting the experience of others or infringing on their rights.

  • Do not introduce viruses or attempt unauthorized access to our systems (e.g., DDoS attacks).

  • We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts at our sole discretion if misuse is suspected.

Provision of Services

  • We strive to ensure pricing and descriptions are accurate, but errors may occur.

  • Service availability (such as specific tutors or time slots) may vary and isn't guaranteed.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration or booking; please update details promptly if they change.

  • Use of the platform and its services must respect the rights of others and not involve illegal, defamatory, or malicious conduct.

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services, including price changes, at our discretion and without notice.

Payment Terms

  • During checkout, you will be required to provide accurate payment information and pay the full amount for the ordered services.

  • Payment details may be securely stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • If services are rendered but payment has not been processed due to an error, you must promptly settle the outstanding amount.

Pricing Policies

  • We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate and current. In the event of an error, GradeUp Maths reserves the right to cancel or refuse any orders.

  • All prices are denominated in Euros (unless otherwise stated) and include applicable taxes.

  • The final cost will be clearly displayed at checkout and in your confirmation email.

  • Pricing and terms are subject to change; these changes will only apply to future purchases and won't affect orders already paid for.

Consumer Rights & Service Delivery

  • These terms don't affect your legal consumer rights. For information on your rights, please consult your local consumer protection authority.

  • If you have questions or issues regarding our services or these terms, please reach out to us directly.

  • Our services may utilize third-party platforms; by using our services, you accept this arrangement.

  • While every effort is made to avoid delays, unforeseen factors (including force majeure events) may impact service delivery, for which we accept no liability when beyond our control.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds will be issued according to applicable Irish and EU legislation, typically processed within 30 days of a valid cancellation.

  • Cancellations must communicated at least 14 days before commencement of a course to contact@gradeupmaths.com or via Whatsapp on 0838174117.

  • Monthly payment plans may be cancelled at any time. Users will be removed from our platform 30 days after the date they communicate their cancellation to contact@gradeupmaths.com or via Whatsapp on 0838174117.

  • Following cancellation, we cannot guarantee the removal of content you may have downloaded or received.

  • Refunds will be made via your original payment method and may be adjusted in line with any contractual breaches.

Intellectual Property

  • All rights (e.g., copyright, trademarks, data compilations) related to materials on our platform are owned or licensed by GradeUp Maths Ltd.

  • Materials may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless authorized in writing.

  • You may not copy, distribute, adapt, or "deep-link" to our content without explicit permission.

  • Our name, logo, and related branding remain the exclusive property of GradeUp Maths Ltd and may not be used without consent.

Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury, death due to negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • We are accountable only for losses reasonably foreseeable from a breach by us; indirect business losses (e.g., lost profits, data loss) are excluded.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed five times the most recent fee paid for services received.

No Academic Outcome Guarantee

  • GradeUp Maths does not guarantee improvements in exam performance—many factors influence academic results outside of the tuition we provide.

  • We do commit to delivering scheduled live classes punctually and providing access to requisite learning materials.

Recording and Media Usage

  • Classes may be recorded for purposes such as staff training, quality assurance, and promotional content.

  • Short clips or screenshots may appear in marketing materials (e.g., website, social media).

  • If you or your child are identifiable and you prefer not to appear, please notify us by emailing us in advance.

Reviews and Testimonials

  • Feedback you provide (via email, messaging platforms, or Google reviews) may be used in marketing. We may edit reviews for clarity or brevity—without altering meaning—and use first names or school years for context.

User-Submitted Content & Confidentiality

  • Any content you post (e.g., questions or submissions) may be used by GradeUp Maths.

  • Content you upload is treated as non-confidential and may be used, shared, or distributed by us at our discretion.

  • We may remove submissions that violate content standards and disclose user identity if claims of infringement are made.
